IV. Central European Bull Terrier Open (Club) and Trophy Show - SIÓFOK - 18 May 2013
Puppies of Hopkins and Léda were born!
We would have liked an English Bull Terrier.
We bought our first bull terrier in 1991.
That time we could not imagine to what extent the breed will move into our thoughts, emotions, and will stay there to define our lives for long.
When we started breeding we did not have any doubts that we would have to build our breeding stock on the basis of the best available dogs.
We have bred 28 champion dogs so far. Most of them have become Junior, Grand and Show Champions.7 of them reached the Interchampion title as well.
Our most important results are as can be seen below:
World Winner, Junior World Winner, European Winner, Junior European Winner.
We won CETS (Continental European Trophy Show) with BOB. We got BIS at CETS Open Show.
We also won several other titles and awards such as: Junior Jacob Bauma, Junior Hauck-Memorial, Junior CETS Winner, Best Bull type terrier, East –West Crossing Trophy Winner. It’s almost impossible to list the number of BOB, Best of Group, Res.Best of Group, BIS, Res.BIS, Junior Club Winner, Club Winner, class winner titles.
We were on the top of the breeders charts with titles like „The Breeder of The Year”, „Top Bull Terrier of the Year”.
We have had one litter yearly as an average. There were years when we had more than one litter but also there were years when we had none.
After many years of break we produced a new litter at the end of  2007.
Having new litters is also one of our plans for 2008.  We hope that this year will give us results like we have had.
We think of ourselves as committed breeders. We produce litters only for breeding purposes.
Of course we do make mistakes during breeding, but there are two things that we are sure about:
It was a good choice to build our breeding stock based on the bitch bred by Balázs Répási, called Hungária Gladiátor Cicciolina (Csicsi), and Wild Roses Elly in the Pub (Pubi) bred by Gábor and Erzsébet Kígyóssy.
We can not list all the names who had an influence on our kennel but we have to mention the name of Jeannette Van Bouwer and the Pollyssa dogs who have greatly shaped the profile of our kennel. In the recent years we have managed to involve Kilacabar dogs into our breeding which hopefully will have an affect on our results.
We were lucky that the most beautiful dogs of ours got to fanciers who understood well the value of the dogs they had making efforts and managing them reaching many fantastic results.
Among them we would like to deeply thank: Árpád Fekete, Dezső Csaba Mezei, Csaba Denk.
Our most important purpose is to breed nice, healthy dogs with good temperaments, because this is the most important condition of the evolution and popularity of the breed.
